24 Apr 14 Colouring

I have been practising my colouring with Promarkers... Oh my daze ... its so hard, I have watched so many different youtube video's and googled so many different techniques. One thing for sure, everyone has their own way to colour, some from dark to light and some colour light to dark, I am still trying to figure which suits me more... I think I will be one who colours light to dark as I find that the easiest, well not so much as easy... but its the only way I can figure out how to add shade and light.

One thing that I can definitely agree on with the more skilled colourer is that you need the correct paper... different results with different papers ... ohhhh my mind boggles...... even then, there are so many different brands to choose from.  I heard the best to use in the UK is Neenah from Crafters Companion, I haven't used it myself as I have a ton of Anne Marie Design's super smooth printing paper which I think is good.  I will however endeavour to try all the various papers suggested in other tutorials when funds permit.

The image in the header is by Krista at Saturated Canary, her little bug eyed diva's are the cutest ever.  Very fond of her work, I only have a limited amount of digi's at present but as my colouring progresses I will definitely invest in more.

Crafters Companion Christmas Cards

Here is a selection of Christmas cards I created using Crafter's Companion products and a few Hunkydory products for an arts and craft fair at work.
